// 2nd MARCH 2012 | WORK 2.0. - DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOP | AT APOGEP

Design Thinking Workshop Young Crew Portugal

THE WORKSHOP

The Work 2.0 - Design Thinking workshop is a one day workshop promoted by Young Crew Portugal / APOGEP – Associação Portuguesa de Gestão de Projectos and Dark Horse GmbH. Acting as a link and promoter of multidisciplinary and collaborative work between different professionals and different companies,  it will promote the communication and collaboration skills of the participants, therefore providing the most important abilities for contemporary leadership towards innovation and business development.

Focussing on "new concepts of work" the participants will start with a specific challenge and - assisted by the coaches - they will acquire a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the problem context. Together with the other team members they will develop a common understanding and a common language that enables them to unveil their creative potential and to experience the power of collaborative innovation.

Within this workshop the teams will develop specific and tangible solutions for the given challenge. The iterative process and the development of tangible prototypes allows immediate feedback on potential hurdles and critical success factors so that the solutions can be refined immediately and minimizing the risks.

All team members will be involved in the solution finding process, contributing their respective experiences and opinions. Discovering and integrating new and even opposing perspectives as well as overcoming seemingly hurdles is what makes true innovators and entrepreneurs successful.

WHY DESIGN THINKING?

Managing Complexity.

Managing projects is complex, because it involves various stakeholders and has to adapt to ever-changing conditions.
Design Thinking is an innovation process to solve complex problems from a human-centered perspective. But even more it is a culture. A working culture that enables and fosters co-creation, that empowers interdisciplinary teamwork, that appreciates varying and even opposing opinions and that accepts apparent obstacles as motivating challenges.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
